Dear Canaan Woods Homeowners,

We want to inform you that the Board is aware of ongoing issues with the landscaping maintenance of the common area median islands throughout our community. These concerns include inconsistent upkeep and the overall appearance of the areas.

We are actively addressing the matter and have engaged a new landscaping contractor to begin corrective work. Our goal is to restore and maintain these common spaces to the standards our community expects and deserves.

We appreciate your patience as we work through this transition and will keep you updated on progress. Thank you for your continued support in keeping Canaan Woods a beautiful place to live.

Attention Neighbors!

The National Weather Service has declared a snow emergency for our area, effective until 8:00 AM on Tuesday, January 7th 2025.  To help our Public Works crews effectively treat and clear the subdivision roadways, we kindly ask that you park all vehicles in your garages or driveways during this time. Vehicles parked on the street create challenges for snowplow operators, making it difficult for them to maneuver and perform their work efficiently.  Your cooperation is essential to ensure the safety and accessibility of our neighborhood. By keeping the streets clear, we can help speed up the snow removal process and make it safer for everyone.

Hey neighbors! Necessary maintenance on the common area will be beginning tomorrow. Please stay off the concrete pad and walkways this week while crews are doing work. We appreciate your patience & understanding as we get this area fixed for the neighborhood to utilize!

Dues notices were mailed out this past week. Payments will be due on June 15th. Please contact us at canaanwoodsks@gmail.com if you did not receive your letter or if you have any questions.

Great weather and a nice turnout for the neighborhood picnic on Saturday! We enjoyed excellent food, music and shaved ice as a special treat.
